In case you want to make sure that your release features on the correct artist page on iTunes/Apple Music, Spotify, or YouTube, one step is essential. You have to add your artist ID to your Beatrising's artist profile. 

This Artist ID is a number provided just to you. It identifies the artist page created on the platform, and you can find it easily on the artist page’s URL.



On Spotify


Finding it on the Web browser

If you are using the web browser to visualize the artist page, it is easy to find the Artist ID. It is made of alphanumeric characters, and you can find it at the end of the URL after "artist/":



Finding it on the Spotify app

To get it from the Spotify app, you will first have to copy the artist’s Spotify URL. At the end of the URL are certain alphanumeric characters. This is the artist ID you are looking for.

You could also copy/paster the complete Spotify URL on your desktop. This will automatically identify the Artist ID.





On iTunes/Apple Music


Finding it on the web browser

 In this case, you can find the artist's Apple ID as it will be written at the end of the URL. 






Finding it on the Apple Music app

In order to find the Artist ID using iTunes/Apple Music app, you have to copy the link. This will generate you the exact same URL as your web browser. The Artist ID will be the last characters of the link.





On YouTube


Finding it on the web browser

You can easily find the artist's YouTube ID. It is mentioned at the end of the Artist’s channel URL and will have around 24 alphanumeric characters.



It is possible that you have a customized URL that you get when you click on your channel.

You will have to click on any of your videos and then click on the channel's name. Do not click on your Avatar; else, it will provide you the same customized URL as before. 




Once you have done the same, you will get your YouTube home page with the correct URL and your artist ID.


On the YouTube app

In order to locate the Artist ID using the YouTube or the YouTube Music app, you have to first copy the link of your channel. 

This will provide you the same URL as your web browser. Now you can easily find out the Artist ID.
